Garbage Management Plan
MEPC 62/24 Annex 13 goes into effect 1 January 2013. It is a rewrite of MARPOL Annex V regulations which requires vessels to update their Garbage Placards, begin using a new Garbage Record Book and to bring their Garbage Management Plan into compliance with the new regulations.
The MARPOL Training Institute is now offering a Garbage Management Plan in Microsoft Word format for a fixed fee. This plan may be used on any of the vessels operated by the purchasing company.
